Miri Shahar

Born in Israel, she has been engaged in the art of painting on porcelain for over twenty years, known in Israel and the world as a painter with her own special style.
For generations, porcelain vessels were considered valuable passed down from generation to generation, the works of art on porcelain are gaining momentum in the world, and are accessible to the general public, to art collectors, to fans of the genre, and to people who love luxury and innovation, accessible and friendly.
In my works I combine, between a conservative style and a modern style, classic ornamentation versus abstract, between an aristocratic luxury style and an abstract minimalist style, the ideas I draw for the paintings on porcelain come from different worlds that I have been exposed to in the past, from painting, graphics, sculpture, jewelry, and basically the sky is the limit as I define it.
The field of art in general and the field of painting on porcelain in particular, constitute for me and for many others a point of departure from reality to another, more sublime world of concepts.
My works have been presented in exhibitions in Israel and around the world and have received great recognition and success.
I reinvent myself every time I am exposed to a white porcelain vessel in order to draw on it, I imagine the design that will best suit the vessel and the creation, its purpose, and of course fully listening to the customer's wishes. And only then does the work of painting on the porcelain begin. The works must stimulate my imagination, each work stands on its own and has no other. Everything is hand painted. Some of the works are a collection of series. And it is also possible to order works according to size or need.
I also set as an ideological goal the further studies in order to gain knowledge of the field in Israel, the artistic "print of my hand" is identified with my works. The love for art lies in us.
The studio hosts a permanent exhibition of items painted on porcelain. You can come and be impressed by prior arrangement
